THE FIRST ANNUAL GREEN STREET FAIR ANNOUNCES EVENT HIGHLIGHTS
Green Street Fair presented by Whole Foods Market®

Plymouth, MI  – Green Street Fair, an event that was founded
to help educate and inform people of all ages about the benefits of green,
organic, and eco-friendly products and services, will be held on the streets of
Downtown Plymouth on May 3 and 4, 2008.

To promote global interest and personal well-being, the Green Street Fair,
presented by Whole Foods Market, will blend companies, non-profit organizations,
artisans, entertainers, workshops and speakers together in a friendly and
family-oriented outdoor environment.

Attendees will be encouraged to learn the advantages of taking strides, large or
small, towards living a healthier and greener life. The event will showcase
local and national businesses displaying, demonstrating and/or selling
eco-friendly, organic, and green products.

Sponsors will be on-site highlighting their endeavors in energy conservation and
environmental awareness programs and products. "Bosch is honored to support such

Highlights of the 2008 Green Street Fair

GREEN SPEAKERS SERIES | Presented by WJR-760 AM and LEAR
The Penn Theatre, located in downtown Plymouth , will host the Green Speakers
Series, presented by WJR-760 AM and Lear. Speakers will discuss a wide range of
topics from global warming to composting, green careers to organic gardening.

MOUNTAIN FILM ON TOUR | Sponsored  by BOYNE
Mountainfilm on Tour from Mountainfilm in Telluride, will be shown at the Penn
Theater on Saturday, May 3, 2008 and will feature adventure, cultural, and
environmental film and video. Presented by the Green Street Fair and sponsored
by BOYNE , Mountainfilm on Tour will consist of films varying in length and
themes, from educational works about cultures and environments on the edge, to
portraits of remarkable people and adrenaline-pitched adventure and exploration.
Admission is free. Doors open at noon on Saturday, May 3. Film begins at 12:30
PM. The Penn Theater is located on Penn Street between Main Street and Union in
downtown Plymouth .


GREEN BOX CITY | Presented by ITC HOLDINGS in conjunction with LAWRENCE TECH
UNIVERSITY
Leading up to the Green Street Fair, Lawrence Technological University (LTU)
will be working with students from Plymouth ’s East Middle School on a project
called Green Box City . Glen LeRoy, Dean of the College of Architecture and
Design at LTU, along with his faculty and students will be leading the green
building project. Presented by ITC Holdings, Green Box City will teach the
middle school students how to create a green city incorporating wind farms and
solar energy into the urban development. The project will be assembled with
recycled materials including cardboard boxes and containers. The Green Box City
will be built on-site during the two-day event.
